Dr. Eckard Steiger is director at division Chassis Systems Control, department Systems and Advanced Engineering, of Robert Bosch GmbH.
Eckard Steiger received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology in Karlsruhe, Germany (now Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) where he graduated with a diploma in Electrical Engineering as well.
After joining Robert Bosch GmbH he held different expert and management positions in sensor and electronics development and application for vehicle passive safety.
Subsequently Eckard Steiger headed several original equipment projects for different OEM.
More recently he was in the position of sales director for a dedicated OEM responsible for program management, acquisition and strategic topics for vehicle safety and ADAS products.
In his current assignment Eckard Steiger holds specific responsibility in the area connected and automated driving.
